ABSTRACT
Partial sequence of mitochondrial ND1 gene was obtained from a hepatic cyst found in European beaver in the North-Eastern
Poland. The sequence was identical to the previously published sequences of the G7 (pig) strain of Echinococcus granulosus.
This is the first finding of the E. granulosus from European beaver.
